Job Description

Internal Ref: 76360Specific Title: Senior Project PlannerClient Sector: DefenceRate: £30-£55 per hour (Strict maximum 36 hour week)Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Bristol or PlymouthIR35: Inside, Umbrella or PAYE availableClearance Level: Active SCResponsibilities:Full JD available upon requestExperience:

  • Current SC or DV clearance
  • Must be British-born due to nature of project
  • Proven experience as a project planner /scheduler.
  • Extensive knowledge of and adept in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Project planning tools to create Work, Product and Organisational Breakdown Structures and schedules.
  • Good working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Project and Word).
  • The post holder should be capable of working professionally, interacting across multiple stakeholders, providing a project management focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external staff, at all levels within the Submarine Enterprise, including senior management.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think logically are essential attributes.
  • A working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Information Management System(s) would be an advantage.
Essential:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with relevant experience or HNC/HND qualified with significant relevant experience.
  • Hold a Project Management Qualification such as Association for Project Management Project Management Qualification or PRINCE2.
