Are you an experienced Office Manager or Team Administrator looking for the opportunity to work in a purposeful, sustainable and growing ethical company We are looking for a talented Office Manager to be the central point of contact across our two Bristol sites.At Pukka Herbs were on a mission to revolutionise herbal health and wellbeing. Based in our award-winning Bristol head office, were looking for someone to join us for a 7 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for 25 hours per week (ideally hours spread across 5 days, Mon-Fri). The salary is £23k - £27K per annum (pro rata for part-time hours) depending on experience.About the opportunityAs Office Manager youll be responsible for delivering a work environment that is not only a safe place to work, but also enhances the Pukka teams wellbeing and enables us to fulfil our sustainable ambitions.In this uniquely varied administration role youll ensure the smooth running of Pukka across our serviced office and warehouse. Youll be in control of managing and ordering all office supplies including stationary, food, drink, and business cards, and deliver all office related administration tasks including managing seating plans and employee activities such as yoga. Youll maintain the look of the office by keeping it tidy and well stocked, as well as working on larger scale high-profile office and facilities projects when needed.Day-to-day youll be the central point of contact for the company, dealing with all general phone enquiries, co-ordinating queries from all departments and managing external suppliers. Youll be the primary point of contact on the front desk for visitors and items arriving, and will ensure the smooth and timely flow of incoming and outgoing post. In addition, youll manage all the facilities contracts including working collaboratively with our serviced office suppliers. When required youll support and deputise for our Directors PA as well as supporting our Health and Safety Officer on all building related compliance matters.Covid 19 - As with many offices our people are currently working from home. We are expecting to open the office over the coming months with a small number of attendees. This is likely to grow over time, but we are not expecting a full return to the Office until 2021. This does not affect the responsibilities of the role, but may affect how they are carried out.About youExperience in office management is essential. Solid experience as a team assistant, or experience as a PA to a senior team, and comprehensive hands-on office coordination skills are likely to be your background. A driving licence (and preferably a car) is needed to travel between the office / warehouse and to assist with Pukka events. Youll ideally have a relevant business qualification. Youll be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have experience setting up and maintaining spreadsheets, can seamlessly use Outlook to book meetings, confidently create and collate PowerPoint slides, and be generally proficient navigating systems and databases.Youll equally enjoy working on day to day tasks as well as working across large change projects. An innate ability to anticipate problems and effectively resolve issues is essential, whilst maintaining an enthusiastic approach and positive attitude.
