Job Description

Lyons Bowe is a local, high-street Solicitors, but with a difference! Established in 2014, we have developed state of the art technology which allows us to offer exceptional legal services across Residential Conveyancing, New Build, Family & Private Clientwhilst also providing that all-important high-street service to our local communities.Following the growth of our business we are now looking to recruit experienced sales and customer care professionals, to join our New Instructions Team in Keynsham.The New Instructions team is a market leading initiative designed to make the process of dealing with a law firm easy and seamless. Our New Instructions team are the face of Lyons Bowe, providing exceptional service and professional advice and guidance.Job PurposeAs the face of Lyons Bowe, the Legal Assistant in the New Instruction Team is responsible for the onboarding of new clients and supporting the team leader by processing the relevant documentation, responding to queries and keeping the relevant parties fullyinformed at all times.Client contact by telephone and correspondence on current matters also form a major part of the daily duties as well as the responsibility for maintaining records and databases within the department.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitoring our online systems throughout the day for new cases - Opening Files and the administration of these files as well as maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Responding to inquiries made by clients about products and services in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Building relationships with estate agents and other external clients to support establishing the Lyons Bowe brand in the location
  • Supporting the New Instructions Team Leader and Head of Business Development in sales tasks as and when required
  • Identifying opportunities and build long term relations with the appropriate prospects
  • Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have previous experience within a sales/customer service-based role in an office environment.Ideally, they will have worked within an Estate Agents or Law Firm and have a good understanding of the conveyancing process, however this is not essential as full training will be given.We are looking for an outgoing team player who is self-motivated and can work well under pressure.Development/Progression Plan New Instructions is the cornerstone of our business and we are extremely proud of the work that the team carries out on a daily basis.There are plenty of opportunities for the postholder to develop their skills within New Instructions and have a successful and fulfilling career, however, here at Lyons Bowe we appreciate that everyone is different, and we are lucky enough to have a stronglegal and operational aspect to our business.So, whether they want to develop their skills in New Instructions, train as a Legal Assistant with the view to becoming a solicitor or find a career within a business support function, we have development and progression plans available for them.Any opportunities or requests will be discussed with the postholder, Line Manager and Head of Recruitment and Staff Development as required.Whatever you decide to do, Lyons Bowe will support and guide you along the way.How to applyIf all of the above sounds interesting, then its easy to find out more!
