We are excited to be seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Operations Team Manager who will lead a team providing a friendly, welcoming and effective contact point and triage service for customers to obtain help and advice regarding HR, Payroll and HSWBmatters.The postholder will lead a team and range of activities which support the smooth running of the wider HR and OD service. This includes leading the employment lifecycle & financial control teams to support all employees and workers via the lifecycle of theiremployment including ensuring the timely issuing of contract documentation for new starters, changes in conditions of employment and associated HR administration together with leading and managing the payroll validation, production and reconciliations of allpayrolls, ensuring the BACS, FPS and costing information balances before the payroll is released and the files submitted.You will be part of a larger HR & OD service and will work collaboratively with your colleagues across the service, particularly with our other HR Operations Team Manager - Recruitment, HR Systems & Support and our financial systems teams, to ensure continuousimprovement in HR&OD service delivery.About youYou will have substantial operational organisation management experience at a Team Manager level providing generalist HR and payroll services across different sectors, hold a CIPP level 7 Certificate in payroll practice or a willingness to work towards thisand have a good understanding of how to add value within an organisation.
