Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Clinical Lead to manage our clinical team based at Charlton House, that understands the BANES Councils visions and values for our service area. Charlton House is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) basedin Keynsham which is registered to provide care and support for residents needing residential and nursing care. The home has 30 registered beds with 15 beds currently occupied.This role is a permanent role working 37 hours per week. There is also a requirement to be the occasional on-call manager across all Residential services sites (including nights and weekends), this is to provide emergency support to our teams.Requirements for the post:

  • Must hold a degree or qualification recognised as equivalent by the NMC as a first level Registered Nurse and held on the register.
  • Proven experience of employment in a Senior Nursing role.
  • The ability to be proactive, think creatively and identify development opportunities and continuing ways of improvement.
  • Have significant experience within an older person setting and able to carry out the range of professional services and technical elements including clinical risk assessment and the development of individualised care plans.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care agenda/Inspection and CQC Regulation processes in relation to monitoring residential / nursing Homes.
  • The ability to be able to problem solve using demonstrable logical decision making.
  • Strong team player who with a collaborative work style.
  • Good levels of IT literacy including Microsoft Office and a knowledge of service-related systems.
  • High level of communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a clinical team.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician.
