The Bath & North East Somerset CAMHS has an exciting opportunity for two Clinical Psychologists to join our supportive and friendly CAMHS team. The main base would be at the Keynsham CAMHS office.The Bath & North East Somerset CAMHS Getting More Help service offers a range of treatment and interventions that are evidence based and adhere to the NICE guidelines. The successful candidates will work within an MDT and a psychology team, to deliver a service to the community. This will include completing assessments and offering psychological interventions CBT etc but also there is the opportunity to take a more specialised role in ED or in NDC depending on the applicant’s interest. These interventions will be delivered through individual sessions, group work and systemic work.We are keen to provide support to anyone transitioning from training, with additional regular clinical supervision and the post would provide some broad CAMHS experience and opportunities for training and CPD, including BABCP accreditation. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive multi-disciplinary team, easily commutable from the World Heritage city of Bath. There is currently opportunity for some flexible working from home and clinicians are provided with Trust laptops for remote consultations. Our multidisciplinary team includes 3 additional clinical psychologists to welcome you into the post and provide ongoing support. We belong to a larger child and adolescent clinical psychology professional group within Oxford health, who meet regularly throughout the year.The Bath & North East Somerset GMH team also work closely with local GP surgeries, schools, and social care. The role will include joining meetings with outside agencies. In addition, the successful candidates will receive both training and personal development opportunities within the Oxford Health Trust and regular clinical supervision.
