Job Description

Role- Warranty & Stores AdministratorSalary- £22-24k per annum Benefits- 2 X Death in Service, Pension, training & career progressionType- Permanent, Full-Time 37.5 hoursLocation- Kettering, Northamptonshire.Company Overview - A world-leading and highly successful mounted platform manufacturer company located in Kettering) that provides top-class products and engineering solutions. They are now looking to recruit a brand-new Warranty & Stores Administrator to join the growing company on a permanent basis.The Role:

  • You will be reporting to the Purchasing manager, and they are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and independent Warranty & Stores Administrator to join the purchasing and stores department.
  • You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a trusted relationship with both Time International and the UK Suppliers
  • Support the Quality Standards and liaise with Engineering, Production and Service to detect continuous issues and areas of concern.
  • Ensure all queries are dealt with between the Stores and Purchasing departments.
Warranty & Stores Administrator responsibilities:
  • Manage the replacement and return of warranty parts between all departments.
  • Process warranty claims across both Time International and UK site and liaise with suppliers to agree on costs and return procedures.
  • Update warranty databases and associated spreadsheets to track claims, maximise revenue and minimise costs.
  • Arrange return & exchange of faulty parts to suppliers.
  • Report monthly on warranty claims, revenue and costs, trends, and remedial action
  • Communicate with Engineering, Production and Service Managers to highlight continuous issues, areas of concern and ideas for improvement.
Experience:
  • Fully able in Microsoft (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent Customer and stakeholder relationship-building skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Independent, high attention to detail, team player, professional, honest
  • Highly desirable: Knowledge of the Epicor ERP Packages
