Were looking for two full time Pallet Repairers or Pallet Repair Operatives for a company based in Kettering.Salary c.£20800 to £24960 plus benefits.Role: Youll be working full time Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 with a 20 minute break at 10:00 and a 30 minute break between 13:00 and 13:30. You will be working part of a team of 4-5 other Pallet Repairers to work through 300 to 400 pallets per day. Upon receiving used pallets, you will be responsible for repairing all types of damage. This could be removal of exposed nails and replacing using a nail gun or breaking damaged pallets down to rebuild. You may need to clean the pallets and sand them down. You will also be required to use other hand tools such as saws for preparation or repair. There will be a lot of standing, being on your feet. There will also be a lot of heavy lifting of up to 25kg per pallet. This is a physically demanding job role which requires you to work outside in any weather conditions.Candidate: Perhaps youve finished a warehouse job where youre lifting heavy objects, maybe youre finishing a groundwork or labouring role and looking for something more stable, could you be a scaffolder and want to be close to homeif youre in this type of role,this could be the job for you. You must be willing to work outside in all weathers. You may have previous experience repairing pallets (desirable). Given the location, you must have your own transport or have a reliable lift to work daily. You will have excellent time keeping skills, be reliable and trustworthy. You shall be willing to work a 3 month contract via Wilson Recruitment Ltd following a successful interview onsite before being offered a full time contract with the business.Pay: Wilson Recruitment Ltd will pay £10 - £10.50 PAYE per hour, you will accrue holiday during your 13 week contract with us and any owed holiday pay will be paid one week following your final week with the agency. Wilson Recruitment Ltd can offer you the opportunity to be paid £11 - £12 per PAYE per hour inclusive of your holiday pay. We will therefore not owe any holiday pay accrued during your time with us. Once permanent, following successful temporary assignment, you will be paid c.£11.50 PAYE per hour.
