Job Description

MHE Site TrainerBurton Latimer £26,000 plus benefits Following a period of incredible growth my client, a supplier of consumables to the retail industry, now has an excellent opportunity for an MHE Site Trainer to join their team at a new purpose-built site in Burton Latimer.Our client offers a generous salary, market leading benefits and excellent career progression opportunities.Role Purpose:To ensure all staff receiving appropriate training for all aspects of role to ensure competent, safe activityKey accountabilities include:Maintenance of safe working environment Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and company EHS policies.Report hazards immediately.Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.MHE TrainingUndertake MHE training at all levels from Novice to Refresher across all shifts; and to undertake competency assessments following MHE incidents.Third Party Provided TrainingSources and manages ad-hoc third-party training, as required by operational and/or site needs.MHE Safety EquipmentManagement of the Linde Connect systemSkills & Experience required:

  • Holds and maintains an MHE training certificate issued by an accredited body (ITSAAR - RTITB - AITT)
  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others. Shares information and resources with others as required. Responds to requests from other team members in a helpful manner. Contributes effectively to team performance to meet agreedobjectives
  • Ability to listen and understand information. Presents information in a clear and concise manner. Knows appropriate way of communicating with trainees and line managers. Demonstrates respect for all individuals in all forms of communication. Treats peoplefairly and courteously.
  • Understands the importance of complying with health and safety procedures and reporting risks.
  • Adapts to changes and uses resources effectively. Together with line manager, sets objectives, establishes priorities and develops plans. Arranges work schedules and prioritises work to meet deadlines. Seeks clarification and approval where appropriatebefore commences new projects or working methods.
