Job Description

Media / Communications Officer required to join a busy Media and Communications department to manage both external and internal communications, promote a positive public image, disseminate information and raise brand awareness.The successful candidate will join a team consisting of editors, designers and commercial managers tasked with producing publications and promotional material relating to the marketing and sales of specialist products and services.The role will include liaising with the media, handling requests for articles as well as attracting revenue from advertising and assisting clients.Applications are invited from candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in publicity and communications within a similar role
  • Administrative and social media marketing experience
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Teams, Zoom, Powerpoint etc
  • Ability to edit and write company materials
  • Excellent communicator, enthusiastic and with a positive attitude
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Adaptable and flexible attitude
  • Capable of working both in a team environment and motivated to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and produce compelling communications for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Desirable:
  • Degree in communications, public relations, marketing or relevant field
  • Experience in traditional marketing channels
