Internal Sales Executive - Construction Aggregates Job Title: Internal Sales Executive - Construction AggregatesIndustry Sector: Aggregate, Concrete, Asphalt, Stone, Granite, Limestone, Sand, Topsoil, Muck Away Services, Waste Removal, Hazardous Removal, Off-Site Earth Removal Services, Main Contractors, Civil Engineering Contractors, Building Contractors, Housebuilders,Groundwork Contractors, Groundworkers, Local Authorities, Internal Sales, Customer Service, AdministrationOffice based: NorthamptonshireRemuneration: £24,000 - £32,000neg + bonusBenefits: Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Internal Sales Executive - Construction Aggregates will involve:

  • Internal Sales Executive role selling construction aggregates such as granites, sand, topsoil, limestone and stone
  • Selling to contractors, building contractors, groundworkers, housebuilders and local authorities
  • Generating sales by dealing with customers over the phone and on email
  • Taking orders and processing them on the internal system, undertaking any further admin responsibilities required
  • Producing quotations
  • Building and developing new business relationships whilst also retaining existing business
  • Generating leads
  • Working with and alongside the dispatch team, helping to allocate loads for deliveries
  • Project sizes can vary from 5 tonnes to 50,000 tonnes, with the value of projects ranging from £200 up to £200,000+
  • Working within an internal sales team which consists of 3
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Construction Aggregates with:
  • Must have previous sales experience in a customer facing role
  • Preferably from an aggregates or construction background, however its not essential
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and drive sales
  • Personable and friendly demeanour
  • Plenty of energy, passion and self-motivation
  • Computer literate
