Job Description

Role: Instrument Fitter Salary: £26,750 per annum Hours: 4.5 day working week, 39 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 08.00-17.00, Friday 08.00-13.00 + Overtime Available Location: Egham, Surrey Job type: Full time, Permanent Interaction have partnered with a world leading aerospace manufacturing client that have been in operation for over 60 years. Due to expansion, we are supporting this client in recruiting for a Grinder The Package: o 32 days annual leave - Inclusive of public holidays o Private Health Care Scheme o Company Pension Plan o Company Sick Pay Scheme o 4.5 working week, early finish on Fridays + overtime available o Internal & External Training Opportunities offering a scope for development/progression o Free on-site parking o Life Assurance Package o A clean & modern working environment o Employee Assistance Programme The Role: To Build/assemble precision electromechanical actuation systems, main and sub-assemblies o Assembling gear assemblies / final assembling and testing of actuators o Assembling cable and wire looms o Stripping and investigating repair/reject units o Basic manual machining o Booking off /on jobs using the company MRP system o Supporting other team members when required What we need from you: - An understanding of fits and tolerances - Assemble precision instruments, working to drawings, procedures and specifications - Wiring, crimping, and soldering experience -Competency using hand tools and measuring equipment - EDS Trained - Ability to work to AS/ISO standards - Use of power supplies and multimeters - Team player with a strong can do ethic - High awareness of productivity and quality - Learn, Apply, and improve Similar roles may include: Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer, Aircraft interior engineer Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
