SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager for my client in North Northamptonshire. Working for a well-established business my client is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to ideally start as soon as possible. The main purpose is proactively manage the Health & Safety across the business. This role is full time and is Monday to Friday.Theday rate is £270.00 per day. THE ROLE: - Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace - Advising employees on how to minimise or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in the workplace - First aid - Ensuring the business is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation - Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace - Being responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace (for example, monitoring noise levels in a warehouse) - Assisting with the creation and management of health and safety monitoring systems and policies in the workplace - Managing emergency procedures (such as fire alarm drills) and organising emergency teams such as fire marshals and first aiders - Offering general health and safety advice to all employees WHAT YOULL NEED - Previous experience in a similar role within Health and Safety and experience to support this. - Foundry experience is desirable but not essential. - You will need to be able to commute to the west Midlands site on a sporadic basis so a bit of travel will be required. - You will be qualified to Diploma level in Health & Safety or have experience to support this - 14001 experience is preferred but not essential. - You MUST demonstrate stability in previous HSE roles. - You will need a hands-on approach and be a strong communicator.
