Job Description

About the Role: Wills Consultants are excited to announce we are recruiting for a Financial Accountant for an award-winning national Academy Trust.You will be reporting into the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the central finance team. Your duties will include:
  • Preparing monthly and annual statutory accounts
  • Providing financial analysis to support decision making
  • Working with the payroll team
  • Administering VAT for the trust
  • Developing the central finance team
  • Working with the internal and external auditors and organising annual audits
Requirements: As an experienced Financial Accountant, we are seeking:
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience within education or not-for-profit sector
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Good communication, organisational and report skills
  • Experience of MS Office packages
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
