Job Description

Finance Manager - Temporary Opportunity We are working with our Kettering based client who are seeking a temporary Finance Manager for approximately 1-2 months. This is an opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the company and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Reporting to the Managing Director, duties will include:

  • Produce and submit monthly management accounts with precision and accuracy.
  • Control the balance sheet to ensure all assets and liabilities are accurately recorded.
  • Conduct gross margin reconciliation and reporting by product category for insightful analysis.
  • Review standard costing results and maintain machine costings and efficiencies.
  • Oversee HMRC VAT reporting and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other managers.
  • Oversee the credit control function and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure general accounting system housekeeping and administration in line with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements. Liaising with outsourced payroll provider P11D’s year- end processes and P60’s.
  • Ensure all statutory payments are completed in a timely manner.
  • Completion of statutory payments in a timely manner.
The Candidate The ideal candidate for this role will be either AAT, CIMA or QBE with a hands-on and proactive approach. Your meticulous eye for detail guarantees accuracy and excellence in all endeavours. With organisational finesse, you thrive amidst challenges, skilfullynavigating deadlines. Your adept communication fosters synergy within teams, fostering effortless interactions. Furthermore, your proficiency in Excel allows you to effortlessly tackle data-related responsibilities.Remuneration o Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience).o Working Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm (office based) 1 hour for lunch.o 20 days holiday plus statutory days.o Onsite parking.Debbie Burbage Recruitment is committed to equal opportunities and diversity.
