Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerKettering2 on 3 off 3 on 2 off Days and Nights £42,000 - £46,000 + OT + Private healthcare + BenefitsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for a thriving food manufacturer with a reputation for investing, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance in a food manufacturing environment. Our client is a leading food & beverage packaging manufacturer, with an industry leading reputation for product quality. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for an aspirational Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team as they grow as a business. This is a very exciting time to join one of the UKs main suppliers into all the major blue-chip supermarkets. Role & Responsibilities:*Provide front line maintenance support to all of the high-speed automated food production, processing and packaging machinery *Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency *Attend all breakdowns within all areas when required*Carry out all Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance *Involved in regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (electrical bias)*Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLCs*Worked on food & beverage high speed machinery, bottling lines, labelers, mixers, cappers etc.*Must have exposure of working in a food / beverage / water treatment environment*Knowledge of Tetra Pak, Galdi or similar packaging machines would be beneficial *Self-motivated, pro-active, enthusiastic person, with the attitude to get stuck in with the team*Willing to learn, train & develop but work on own initiative from the start*Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices & continuous improvement mentality*Must have a recognised time-served apprenticeship In return for your commitment my client offers an exciting and progressive career for motivated engineers.
