Job Description

Domestic Gas Engineer / Heating Engineer required for our client, a mechanical and electrical services provider, based in the Northamptonshire area. Theyre looking for a domestic gas engineer, to carry out servicing and repair work, within an hour or soof Kettering.The Domestic Gas Engineer will be working within private housing, carrying out a range of works including servicing, CP12s / gas safety checks and boiler repairs. The Domestic Gas Engineer MUST hold up to date ACS domestic gas qualifications, includingCCN1 and CENWAT.Domestic Gas Engineer Position Overview

  • Providing service, maintenance and breakdown to domestic boilers / heating systems
  • Covering in and around the Kettering area (typically within an hour or so).
  • The client offer bonuses on quoted hours, essentially meaning engineers can earn extra money in addition to hours worked. Typically, the average domestic gas engineer within the business, earns circa £45k OTE.
Domestic Gas Engineer Position Requirements
  • The Gas Engineer MUST hold valid ACS domestic gas tickets, including their CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
  • The Engineer must have previous experience in the service and maintenance of domestic heating systems / boilers.
  • MUST be based within commutable distance of Kettering
Domestic Gas Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £33,000 - £36,000 basic salary, plus bonuses / quoted hours - OTE circa £45k
  • Quoted hour bonuses discussed at interview stage
