Job Description

Customer Service AdvisorSalary: £23,500 per annumMonday - Friday, working 9:30am - 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week). No weekends.Kettering. Office based.Permanent Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Kettering. Our client has a global brand, a world class reputation and even product placement in Blockbuster films! Their looking to add to their established Customer Service Contact Centre.Whilst this role is majority telephone based, it’s not just a Contact Centre based role, they’ll be a good amount of administration tasks too.If you’re an experienced Customer Service professional currently in a similar role, we want to hear from you.Role purpose:Answering and making (non-sales) calls to their customers and internal stakeholders regarding all things related to customer’s orders, prices, promotions and the occasional problem. In this role you’re there to support their internal stakeholders and theircustomers - consisting of both commercial and retail customers.Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional service to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Escalate unresolved issues as required
  • Process orders and credits within the internal CS System
  • Be capable of developing a broad product knowledge to adequately perform the function of the role
  • Facilitate direct supplier orders
  • Be capable of liaising between different departments to ensure desired outcomes and information flow
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
  • Currently employed or very recently employed within a similar office-based Customer Service/ Administration role
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, good telephone manner and a professional approach
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Have a high level of competency in IT (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have an organised and methodical approach to administrative duties.
