Business Intelligence Developer (NetSuite & Power BI) - Kettering/Remote - 3-6 monthsThe key focus of the Business Intelligence Developer is to drive continuous improvement to our internal reporting capabilities and enable appropriate data sets to be presented on our customer facing platforms.This is a pivotal role in the business as your primary concern is the quality and maintenance of data that will support our commercial operations and future growth plans.You will coach, mentor and lead positive change across the business as you deliver high quality solutions to support our agile needs.Your tasks will focus on empowering users in our primary ERP system, Oracle NetSuite, as well as other related or directly linked software applications like Microsoft Power BI and all connecting data sources and integrations that will form our Ecosystemfor the future.We have a huge amount to do to improve our data and how it is consumed in the business and so this role has scope to grow and develop in line with our own business goals and growth trajectory.The Business Intelligence function is responsible for helping us leverage data and identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends, as well as recognise potential issues and offer solutions.Your work is aimed towards improving efficiency, increasing productivity, and driving profits for the business.Skills & Experience:Essential:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps specifically Power BI
• In-depth understanding of database design and management, including SQL and data modelling
• Excellent mathematical skills, particularly in statistics
• Expertise programming, data mining and data visualisation techniques
• Problem-solving skills and creativity
• Business administration skills

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite
• Experienced with NetSuite customisation tools
• Experienced in using workflow engines or similar
• Practical experience as an application administrator, support technician, consultant, or developer preferably in NetSuite and SCA
• Knowledge of current Information Technology practices, standards, and protocols

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas of the business that could benefit from analysis
• Review data collection processes and assessing the validity of the information stored
• Understand the laws surrounding the collecting and processing of data and ensuring that all policies reflect current legislation
• Use, research and assess data processing software
• Identify anomalous data and examining and eliminating any processes or procedures that contribute to unreliable data being collected
• Work closely with the IT department to ensure that the data collection and storage systems are secure and robust
• Implement solutions for system enhancements and follow-up with users regarding use and success
• From time to time, you will assist other team members with support cases and system administration duties
• Provide support when and where needed across the business
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties, as deemed necessary, to assist with the needs of the company Classification
