Job Description

  • LOCATION: Kettering, Northamptonshire
  • TYPE: Full-Time, Fixed Term
  • SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000/annum pro rata
    • About the Role: An Assistant Accountant is now being sought for a global manufacturing and distribution business. This will be a varied and interesting position, directly assisting the Finance Manager in the delivery of transactional processing and day-to-day financial management including trial balance and producing reports and financial statements. As an international business, you may have interactions with the European head office as well as other internal and external stakeholders within the UK business. You will be accountable for supplier, customer, and general ledgers, as well as having responsibility for overseeing the completion of bank and balance sheet reconciliation.Requirements: The role would suit an accounting professional who is continuing or finishing with their accounting or bookkeeping studies, or a more experienced individual who has completed a similar role. We are seeking a good breadth and depth of experience and experience of larger accounting/ERP systems use would be advantageous. You will be joining a small supportive and dedicated team of professionals and we are seeking an individual able to positively contribute to the team in a personable, approachable manner.
