Job Description

Architectural Technologist Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire (Hybrid)Salary: £32k - £40k + Excellent BenefitsWorking Hours: 37.85 hours per weekThe Client:Our client is a reputable architectural firm, offering a complete range of services, including architectural design, feasibility studies, 3D graphics and animation, interior design, and estate strategies.The Role:As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting planning applications, navigating regulatory procedures, and demonstrating a dedication to sustainability and health and wellbeing.Responsibilities:

  • Generating diverse working drawing packages.
  • Leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information.
  • Communicating with authorities for statutory approval processes.
  • Conducting design-stage risk assessments.
  • Managing contracts and overseeing project certifications.
  • Evaluating building performance and compiling maintenance management information.
Requirements:
  • Previously worked for at least 5 years as an Architectural Technologist or in a similar role.
  • A degree (BSc Hons), HNC, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology.
  • Understanding of essential detailing, building regulation and NBS.
  • Membership in CIAT or an equivalent professional body.
  • Skilled in REVIT, with BIM knowledge. (Beneficial)
  • Background in Cobie data. (Beneficial)
