About The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Independent Sales team at UK Greetings covering postcodes all Kent, some SE and E, IG, RM and SS postcodes. Our Sales Team work hard to build strong relationships with our retailers, ensuring their product selection is the best it can be, and helping them generate sales. Fast paced, demanding, but very rewarding, a career with the UK Greetings Sales Team is something to be proud of!Ideally located in the Maidstone/Rochester/Swanley/Chatham area the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the independent accounts on your territory. A key part of this challenging role will be to increase the number of commercially viable accounts through establishing contacts and prospecting. Additionally, the role will involve some administrative duties.The successful candidate must demonstrate experience of working in a sales environment ideally having worked within a targeted environment with a proven record of developing business relationships. Ideally you will be organised, tenacious, personable and self-motivated. Experience and knowledge of the greeting card industry would be beneficial but not essential.
