Job Ref: OJ 3821 Hamptons are currently on the lookout for a Deputy Manager in Canterbury, for a 7-bed EBD Childrens Residential Home.The Deputy Manager will be given the platform to progress to becoming a Registered Manager within 12-18 months and thecompany have an incredibly rewarding bonus structure, including a joining bonus of £1,000. Job Profile:The Deputy Manager will be expected to ensure that the children and young persons primary and developmental needs are a priority, by working to developa strong caring ethos. Essential Requirements:An accessible, approachable & participative management style.2 years of residential childcare experience or in a similar role dealing with residential childcare.The ability to communicate clearly and effectively,both with colleagues and children, verbally and in writing.Willingness to be flexible.Strong childcare knowledge and understanding of EBD.Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise accordingly.
