LTA/Reed Education are seeking aSENCOwith responsibility to further develop and leadInclusion and SEN teamsat a School in the Colne. This is a newfull time rolecovering5 days a weekfrom08:30amto 15:30pm. The role is expected to startSeptember 2022and will be on anongoingbasis for the right candidate. This is a vacant role and so the right candidate may be appointed on a permanent basis.The right candidate will haveSENCo Qualificationor previous experience as a SENCo and be willing to undertake the qualification.The SENCO, under the direction of the headteacher, will: Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision in the school Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual students with SEN or a disability Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students with SEN Ensure that School meets its responsibilities under the Children and Families Act 2014, Equality Act 2010, including all legislation with regard to SEND and the reasonable adjustments and access arrangements that are expected of the schoolIn return we will offer the following services: Highly competitive rates of pay Weekly pay, including holiday pay Reed Discount Club and Pension Scheme Access to continuous professional development and Safeguarding courses Your personal consultant, here to promote and develop our staff.
