A great opportunity has arisen to join an expanding, stable company.The CompanyThe company are a long-established supplier to the hospitality industry. Operating for over 75 years, from within West Yorkshire, we are a family owned and operated manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters.Job Role / Purpose:To provide refrigeration engineering support to the factory, and refrigeration technical support to the wider business, including the warranty desk and third-party engineers. In addition, there will be occasional service visits to site. Suitablecandidateswill possess the relevant refrigeration qualifications and experience, be a good communicator, be flexible and willing to develop further.Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Support:Provide technical support to our manufacturing facility to include help with fault finding and best practice guidance for assembly of refrigeration systems. i.e., Brazing, pipe bending/forming, pressure testing, vac down, refrigeration charging and componentassembly techniques. Service and Warranty Desk Support:Provide technical support and guidance to our Warranty Desk Coordinator, end users and third party engineers. Site Visits:An important part of this role is it involves occasional service visits to repair Victor refrigerated displays or problem solve installations that third party engineers have been unable to resolve. Service calls may require out of hours travel/work and potentiallyovernight stays, as necessary. New Product Development (NPD) and Product Refresh Support:To support the NPD process by imparting your refrigeration expertise to influence good refrigeration design.To make improvements to existing refrigerated products as part of product refresh programmes.Continuing Professional Development The post holder will proactively take part in the companies appraisal process. The post holder will be expected to attend training and continuous professional development events and be responsible for their own professional updating.Hours of Work7:30am - 4pm (Mon to Thurs)7:30am - 3pm (Fridays)Additional InformationPay progression33 days holiday per yearPension contribution
