Products include Welding equipment, Compressors, Generators, Industrial Cleaning Systems, Automotive and GarageEquipment and Tools, and Woodworking machines.Established for over 50 years, the business distribute over 40,000 products to customers annually in the UK, but also supply Worldwide. They not only supply Main Brand equipment, but also design and manufacture their own bespoke range of Compressors.The RoleThe Technical Support Engineer will be half based in the office and half based visiting customers sites to provide hands on support. When in the office, the Technical Support Engineer will be fielding calls from customers with technical queries on either useof equipment or breakdowns. If a problem can not be solved over the phone, then the Technical Support Engineer would be required to visit the customers site to fix the issue.Breakdowns would be on both Rental and Warranty covered Equipment. In the case of Rental equipment, it would normally be a straight replacement and return of the faulty unit. Breakdowns would be a mix of mechanical and electrical faults so the business is lookingfor someone who is equally confident and adept at both. Due to the large range of equipment types they supply, the business will provide full product training to the successful applicant, with a focus around Welding Equipment, Compressors, and Metal Cutting Equipment as these are their biggest product areas.The CandidateThe business is looking for a candidate with the following:
