Company description:Refresco BVJob description:Key responsibilities of this role:

  • Posting cash book related transactions for all UK companies
    • daily cash book processing of all payments and receipts and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Daily processing of all cash pool transactions
    • management of all outgoing payments in line with the forecast
  • Administration the SDIL compliance process for the UK
    • Monthly reconciliation and filing of returns with the HMRC (by entity)
    • Supporting the classification and setup of new SKUs
    • Liaising with customers who subsequently export and issue credits
  • Support the administration of the import and export duty process, analysing costs with guidance from the UK Tax Accountant
  • Complete business national statistics returns as required by the government (circa 100 per year)
    • Ensure that all legal requirements of submitting information returns are compiled directly or liaising with colleagues to ensure the relevant information is delivered accurately, and efficiently
    • Participating or leasing assigned business projects as and when required.
Experience and Qualifications:To truly be the right fit for this role you will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role ideally gained through FMCG. You will bring to this role your working experience of ERP systems and handling of data.To be consider for this role you will be a qualified Accountant to ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT or part qualified with a clear plan off progression.Your Profile You will be an expert within your field and comfortable with advising colleagues within the Finance department on the correct technical treatment of transactions and the importance of accuracy and timelines.To be successful in this role you will be able to provide reliable and accurate data and meet strict deadlines. Your ability to identify problems at an early stage and proactively provide solutions or escalate the problem to the relevant team will be a greatasset. You will have a high level of attention to detail, be analytically minded, and a great multitasker. On top of this if you can bring along your planning skills to the role you will be able to hit the ground running.Competencies and skills that we are looking for include:

We offer:Salary & BenefitsThe salary for this role is competitive and dependent on experience. We also offer a 5% annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, 2x basic salary life assurance, enhanced pension contributions plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays(with the option to purchase additional holidays). Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00.
