Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a Director of Marketing and Admissions to join their team in Keele!Keele University International College (KUIC) is the latest addition to their fast-growing UK portfolio. In partnership with Keele University, the DMA will build the recruitment and growth strategy for the college and the partnership from the ground up,driving student recruitment and contributing to the internationalisation strategy of the university. As a new start up, the DMA will have an entrepreneurial approach, being both strategic as well as hands-on with operations, growing and motivating a highperforming team. This is an excellent opportunity to make this role your own and make a real impact within our client.Salary: CompetitiveDirector of Marketing and Admissions Duties:

  • Lead KUIC recruitment strategy
  • Lead marketing and recruitment activities in the UK and offshore in accordance with Our Clients Policy and Regulations
  • Ensure KUIC sales toolkits are available for all GRTs with suitable training as required
  • Ensure KUIC is represented by GRTs and KUIC Student Recruitment Officer where required at exhibitions, conferences, and fairs
  • Lead the value and brand proposition for KUIC
  • Lead the implementation of cost effective, product and regional focused, marketing strategies and sales/recruitment tactics underpinned by comprehensive market research as determined by the College Marketing Plan
  • Maintain and improve the Colleges and our clients competitive position through business growth and development
  • In consultation with the Director/Principal and EGM, develop business cases for new products, informed by market intelligence, that increase market penetration
  • Responsible for ensuring Tier 4 compliance and QAA Code of Practice in all marketing and recruitments processes process
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework governing the marketing, sales/recruitment and admissions functions while overseeing wide college compliance processes are monitored and reviewed
  • Assist CDP in the College strategic planning processes
  • Work closely with the Director of Academic and Student Services to develop student number plans, forecasts, and budgets
  • Manage the College relationship with ARC and GRTs.
  • Assist CDP in the management of the Marketing budget for the College
Director of Marketing and Admissions Requirements:
  • Degree
  • Evidence of work-related professional development
  • Good understanding of the UK Higher Education system
  • Successful record of managing people, budgets, and resources
  • Experience of implementing strategies, standards, and practices
  • Delivery of targets on time within budget
  • Deliver focused: driving though change whilst ensuring outcomes are met
  • Understand and respect the critical interface between budget management, quality assurance and student recruitment
  • Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of the Home Office Tier 4 regulations and the QAAs Code of Practice
  • Understand the dynamic and often volatile nature of international education export business and need therefore to provide best practice levels of care, advice, and support to students
  • Proven ability to design, initiate and implement marketing plans, strategies and sales tactics which have made a significant contribution to sustainable business growth
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including University personnel, agents, and government organisations
  • Demonstrate leadership and coordination skills in an education environment
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Can communicate with staff and students from a diverse range of cultural and educational backgrounds
  • Prioritise duties, and seek clarification and guidance from manager when faced with competing priorities
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles and ability to implement them at the strategic and/or operational level
  • IT literacy
