A fantastic opportunity for a skilled fabricator to join an ever growing company with lots of progression opportunities.Salary is dependant on experience but ranging from £18-27k, working Monday to Friday (day hours). Requirements * Experience of manufacturing in Acrylic, Wood and composite material* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills* Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines * Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and recommend solutions to Background:* Bench joinery / carpentry / shop fitting background. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure health and safety/environmental standards are always adhered to * To use PPE as required by the company and when signage always indicates so * Share knowledge with other team members in Health & Safety standards and best practice if & when required* Ensure that your work area and equipment are kept clean and well maintained* Agree and adhere to job by job pace targets with your supervisor* Notify your supervisor of any delays at the earliest opportunity* Seek out improvements to pace and shares learning with others* Can think outside the box when tackling issues in fabrication to make sure job quality is good & goes out on time* Share knowledge with other Team Members in the implementation of pace improvements* Agree and adhere to job by job quality standards with your Supervisor* Notify your Supervisor of any quality issues at the earliest opportunity with possible suggestions on how to repair it* Seek out improvements to quality and shares learning with others* Share knowledge with other Team Members in the implementation of quality improvements* Take ownership of your work* Be accountable and trustworthy* Take pride in your personal appearance* You must work as part of the team to ensure continuity of the business* Ensure that you recycle all waste in the correct waste streamsAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
