Job Description

Night Care Assistant | Douro Court Ivybridge | £9.70-£10.28Looking to work NIGHTS to fit in with your commitmentsAs a Night Care Assistant, you will be supporting our customers to continue living in the comfort their own home within our extra care scheme at Douro Court in Ivybridge. As you help our customers to maintain their independence, your duties will include:

  • Providing high quality, responsive and person-centred services that meet the needs of our customers ensuring they have a choice and control over their lives
  • Answering customers calls for support during the night.
  • Assisting our customers with administering medication and delivering personal care
  • Listening to our customers and promote their involvement in shaping and monitoring services
  • This role involves lone working with the support of an on-call team.
We make sure were always there for our customers when they need us. For this role the hours would be from 9pm - 7am, on a rota basis including alternate weekends and bank holidays.. More hours are available if you would like to work more!You will need your own transport due the location.Whats on offerWe offer an excellent benefits package for our care teams to help make Guinness Care a great place to work.   • £9.70 per hour, £10.28 per hour if you have an NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in Health & Social Care. If you dont already have the qualification, we will work with you to achieve it
