Job Description

Setting Out EngineerLocation:Isleworth, LondonDay rate: 300-350 per day Via Umbrella(Inside of IR35) dependant on experienceDuration: 3 months with a possible extensionStart: ImmediatelyMy client is looking for a Setting Out Engineer to come on board and join their team based in the Isleworth area. The ideal Setting Out Engineer will come onboard and carry out site surveys.Setting Out Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Process the As built site data
  • Produce handover documents
  • Work with onsite team of surveyors
  • Carry out site surveys as required
  • Collect data on site and complete all required field sheets
  • Download and Post-Process all surveyed data
  • Carry out appropriate quality control checks and issue data to CAD
  • Check all survey drawings before they are issued to our customer
Requirements:
  • Possess a good set of setting out skills
  • Confident using surveying equipment, can transfer surveys onto CAD
  • Worked in similar position(3 + years experience)
  • Experienced in carrying out surveys i.e. topographical, Concrete, Steel Structures
  • Familiar with getting involved with civil works such as earthworks, ground works, excavations, piling
  • Experienced in setting out trial holes (Must)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
  • As built experience
  • CSCS card
