Industry Placement Officer Isleworth£13.50 - £14.50 per hour (temporary)Opportunity:Working with the Head of Careers and Work Placements in delivery the Industry Placement Programme which ensures targeted students complete a substantial industry placement in preparation for completion of qualifications. Working with employers, students and staff, you will develop, plan and deliver a range of resources, activities and events to identify and maximise opportunities for students to gain practical skills in safe, relevant and realistic work settings and enablethem to compete in the current job market. Main Duties:* Establish creative and effective activities / processes to identify, establish, maintain and develop a network of employers offering appropriate substantial industry placements* Develop and deliver proactive and inspiring sessions and resources that help students prepare for industry placements* Seek out, create and track meaningful and relevant industry placement opportunities for an assigned caseload of students* Liaise with employers and other placement providers to ensure all placements conform to legal health and safety* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and placement providers to ensure continued engagement and increase the number of opportunitiesKey Skills:* Experience of developing or implementing work experience or employer engagement and a sounds knowledge of work placement processes* Knowledge of current job market and the issues and needs of young people* Previous experience of working with young adults* Strong administration, planning and organisation skills* High level of attention to detail* Excellent verbal and written skills* High level of customer focussed experience, with excellent customer service skillsPeach Personnel are specialists in the recruitment of temporary and permanent office professionals in Windsor, Slough, Heathrow, West London and surrounding areas.
