Consultant Clinical Psychologist 8CCommunity and Recovery Mental Health Services: Integrated community mental health services lead 1.0 wte(Part time appointments may be considered)Psychology within West London is central to the development and delivery of evidence based packages of care, delivered against NICE guidelines with a range of education and training to be rolled-out alongside the service transformation. Psychology is involved in all planning regarding service development and delivery.The successful post holder will join a large psychology department working across Community Recovery services, Rehabilitation services, Inpatient services, Crisis Assessment and Treatment Teams, Early Intervention, Primary Care Mental Health, Eating Disorders and many others. The service has an active CPD programme for psychologists and the post holder will be expected to be a core member of both the service line and the psychology senior management team.West London NHS Services are in the process of transforming the provision of community services to offer integrated placed-based care centred around the Primary Care Networks across the three boroughs of Hounslow, Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham. This transformation is aimed at improving, focussing and standardising the offer to all those using our services and is concentrating on improving access to psychological treatments.These services boast excellent multi-disciplinary working and you will be part of a team excited by, and striving for, optimal recovery outcomes for each individual who uses our services.The teams are keen to develop formulation-based understanding, trauma-informed ways of working alongside culturally sensitive care and support. We are excited by a range of new roles which strive to work within our communities; building and developing holistic ways of working.With this in mind, we would like to recruit someone with an innovative and demonstrated approach to improving service delivery, comprehensive skills in writing business cases; consultation around models of service provision and staff management alongside experience in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The successful post holder will help develop, implement and evaluate our new model of integrated Primary and Secondary mental health care.The post-holder will have experience of working with people with a range of mental health problems and will have a keen interest in change management and service delivery.
