Reed Accountancy have exclusively instructed and retained to recruit for a Part Time Finance Manager for our Client based in East Ipswich.Our client is a firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys who have been established for over 30 years. Theyare seeking a Finance Manager to join them working 3 days a week. This role will report directly into the partners and will be responsible for managing one direct report. This is a really exciting opportunityfor an AAT qualified Accountant orAssistant Accountant looking for the next step in their career, or someone looking for part time hours.Duties will include:Management of the day to day accounting function including sales, purchase and nominal ledgers.Bank Reconciliations and managing the firms internet bank accountsPayrollPayment of Partner drawings, Tax and Corporation TaxAccruals and Prepayment journalsProduction of monthly management accountsCredit ControlBank and control account reconciliationVAT reconciliation and returnsMonthly suppler payments in multiple currenciesProduction of year end accounts information for external accountantsSubmission of HMRC returnsMaintenance of the Fixed Asset RegisterSupervision of the Accounts Assistant.In this role familiarity of working with Access Accounts and cloud based accountancy solutions would be an advantage. You would also have responsibility for liaising with theexternal accountants.A working knowledge of Excel is essential and knowledge ofAccess Database would be helpful.
