We are looking for a Hospitality Operations Manager to join our busy venue which has 2 x restaurants, outside catering and events. If you have management experience from working in; hotels, busy restaurants, or catering then this could be the job for you. We need somebody who will drive quality of food and drink offering and service across our 2 x restaurants while also ensuring profitability and margin for the business. If you are passionate about the Scottish larder, food and drink and developing junior staff in the hospitality industry then we want to hear from you. This is 5 days from 7 role with weekend work.Responsibilities:• You will be an existing Hospitality Manager that has enjoyed the development given through a quality driven, high turnover operation• As an Operations Manager you will be a highly organised individual with the ability to work under pressure• Possess very strong Food & Drinks knowledge, Steak, Wine, Modern Scottish food and fast food.• You will be a natural leader who is able to work off their own initiative with little or no direction• Must be commercially minded whilst at the same time being an exceptionally hands-on manager, you will have P&L responsibility for 4 x revenue streams.• You must have the capability for staff development & training, recognising & developing rising stars and ensuring high levels of customer service.• Being a personal licence holder would be advantageous.• Personal traits would include the following: possess a great personality whilst being genuine, approachable, attentive & instinctive. Must be smart and well presented & have the capability to remain calm when under pressure. The ideal candidate will have sound operational knowledge, good IT experience and have excellent standards of numeracy & literacy.
