A consultancy that specialise in providing services delivering environmental, cost and operational benefits across the whole asset base in all types of organisations require a Senior Sustainability Consultant for a client facing role working across a diverserange of projects, helping to undertake a Net Zero Gap Analysis, delivering environmental and sustainability assignments. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree with a background in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting within a broader sustainabilitycontext. Location: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham, Derby, Bristol, Gloucester, Cambridge, Oxford, Cornwall, Somerset Package: £43,000 - £53,000 p.a. +Bonus Suitable for: Net Zero Consultant, Senior Sustainability Consultant, Principal Sustainability Consultant, Sustainability Analyst, Sustainability & Environmental Consultant, Sustainability and Environmental Consultant, Energy & sustainability consultant, Carbon& Sustainability Consultant, Energy & Carbon Consultant, Renewables and Low Carbon ConsultantThe Role Reporting into the Sustainability Director, this is a home based role with travel to Client sites. Travel by public transport is encouraged but there are plans to include an electric car with the role (Hired cars can also be arranged). -Delivering Net Zero (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) assignments.-Delivering environmental and sustainability assignments.-Delivering Behaviour Change assignments.-Project Management of assignments, i.e. implementing, environmental and Net Zero projects on customer sites.The PersonEducated to degree level you will have the following experiences: -SBT sector-specific development, helping clients to submit their data and evidence to the SBTi. -A good understanding of both GHG offsetting and insetting.-Good understanding of how to apply the Global Goals for Sustainable Development for achieving ESG good practice.-Experience of both developing, as well as supporting, the implementation of Net Zero strategies.This is an opportunity to work for a consultancy that want to do the right thing for Clients and they can offer progression in the not so distant future.
