Work Location: In personAttention all Year 1 or KS1 Teachers! An incredible opportunity has arisen to make a real difference to pupils at an OFSTED rated Outstanding Primary School in Immingham. This part-time, longer-term role and provides an ideal chance for you to use yourskills and knowledge to support a young learners development. The pay for this role will be from £120 -£199 per day. This role is suitable for an ECT or a recently qualified teacher.The school is located in Immingham and is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all its pupils. With excellent facilities and a dedicated team of professionals, you will have the resources you need to make a positiveimpact on the pupils learning journey.Key Responsibilities for a Year 1 Teacher:
  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in KS1 that align with the National curriculum and the schools curriculum
  • Assessing student progress and using data to inform teaching and learning and set targets for students
  • Collaborating with the school team to support student development and share best practices
  • Providing a safe and positive learning environment for students, fostering a culture of respect and inclusion
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers about students progress and any concerns
The ideal Year1 Teacher will have:
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or PGCE
  • Experience teaching in KS1 and have a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
  • A proven track record of success in the classroom, with the ability to raise standards and close the attainment gap
  • A passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on students lives and foster a love of learning
  • Be able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student population
