Job Description

Industrial Site TechnicianFor almost 30 years, Greenergy has been investing in lower carbon renewable fuels that can be used in existing vehicles. As Europes largest manufacturer of waste-based biodiesel, renewables are core to Greenergys strategy to drive transport decarbonisationthrough continued leadership in renewables.Purpose of role: Develop routines to ensure all areas of the site/office you are working on are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.Main DutiesResponsible for the site team carrying out all tasks to a high level of competence and ensuring full health & safety compliance for all tasks.

  • Front line industrial cleaning of equipment using hand tools, assist with high pressure water jetting, abrasive and non-abrasive cleaning applications.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleaning/housekeeping in day to day activities
  • Co-operating with site management
  • Working to health and safety, environmental other standards as they apply to the process.
  • Following Greenergy Operating Procedures as required
  • Application of paints & coatings using pump/ brush or roller
  • Assist with site area audits (task will be directed by Greenergy site manager)
  • Undertaking routine maintenance tasks as directed
  • Working to timescales and deadlines as directed
  • Flexibility and willingness to be involved in all aspects of the operation
  • Confined Space Entry
  • High Pressure Water Jetting assistance
  • Face Fit Tests
  • Manual Handling
  • The ability to work in a team based environment
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Site handy man tasks
  • Responsible for the site team carrying out all tasks to a high level of competence and ensuring full health & safety compliance for all tasks.
