Job Description

HRGO are currently looking for a Purchasing Manager on behalf of a large international business who operative across multiple markets and territories.Role:- Purchasing ManagerLocation:- LincolnshireSalary:- £45-55kBenefits:- Company Car, Pension, Potential for Hybrid workingDuties Include:

  • Negotiating terms and conditions with the Suppliers and Contractors
  • Working with Operations and Customer Service to ensure high quality standards
  • Driving continuous improvement to help improve efficiency.
  • Overseeing a team based in locations across the UK.
  • Negotiating contracts in order to ensure that cost targets are met, whilst also ensuring that suppliers and contractors are meeting the required quality standards.
  • Managing resources in line with seasonal peaks in demand.
  • Liaising with and developing a pipeline of potential new suppliers
  • Conduct regular quality checks on suppliers
Candidates require:
  • Experience as procurement or purchasing manager, ideally within the logistics industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence communicating at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and to targets
  • Decisive and with good problem solving ability
  • Ambitious and driven, self motivated with the ability to motivate others.
