Job Description

£11.40-£12.82 per hour plus O/TAlways wanted to work in logistics and be involved with the processing of goods through one of the busiest ports in Europe Or have experience in this field and want to work with a company who can guarantee the diversity and progression with your careerWe have the role for you.Working on a 39hrs Per Week Contract (Between Monday-Sunday) with opportunities for overtime, youll be responsible for carrying out all security checks and controlling the gate. Youll be inspecting all import and export units for damages, photographingunits, and completing the necessary paperwork. Alongside checking the trailers and vehicles, youll need to ensure all visitors and drivers to the terminal are compliantdont worry, we will ensure you have all the necessary training you need to succeedin your role.Alongside carrying out checks for hazardous goods and completing the documentation, youll also be receiving cargo for storage, warehousing, and transhipment. We need you to build relationships with the Customer Services Operation Department as youll befrequently liaising with them to resolve issues and queries.Sound good Now about what we can give you.
