Job Description

Export Operations/ Administrator- Immingham- £18,000 to £25,000 paDue to company growth, a large logistics business is looking to expand its team with a driven Export Operations/ Administrator.This is an opportunity to secure a position with a highly successful business that has continued to celebrate success and build a powerful reputation in its industry.Responsibility:

  • In this role you will be responsible for both the operations and administration of the export division
  • You will function as a point of contact always ensuring in a high standard of customer service
  • Administration duties will become a daily part of your role whilst you are responsible for issuing sales invoices to customers in accordance with agreements
  • Check pass purchase invoices
  • You will be responsible for checking pass purchase invoices
  • Taking bookings and create the internal software
  • You will be responsible for consulting with transport planners and shipping lines
  • As someone with experience of working within customs you will be responsible for completing Export Customs Clearances using an inhouse database.
Required skills and experience:
  • To be considered for this role previous experience of working within either a freight forwarding or shipping business
  • You will be a confident communicator who takes pride in delivering a high level of service
  • With good problem-solving skills you will be able to quickly prioritise and plan to an ever-changing workload
  • A proficient level of IT skills is required
  • A willingness to learn and develop other roles in a team environment.
In return you will receive:
  • A competitive salary of between £18,000 to £25,000 pa depending on level of experience
  • Holidays start at 20 days plus bank holidays which will increase up to 25 days with length of service
  • Health care plan (following probation)
