£22,000 - £24,500Are you proactive and a team player who is confident communicating with a wide range of different internal departments and customers Do you have a high level of IT competency & enjoy problem solving Our Equipment & Asset Management Team based in Imminghamare in search of an Equipment Controller, to join them and help with the essential task of planning and controlling of cargo carrying and securing equipment around our group network,Working MonFri, 8am5pm, you will be trained on all aspects of this role which includes (but is not limited to) coordinating aspects of equipment movement and maintenance across Europe, so you must be organised and able to adapt in intense situations.A keen eye for detail is needed as you will be compiling data from systems to ensure all information is kept up to date. You will safeguard that the cargo is maintained to a satisfactory standardboth legally and operationally. Updating logistics platforms,you will work closely with all Routes and Terminals to plan, deploy, and control equipment as required to support the smooth operation of our business.Responsible for compiling and maintaining accurate data reports, a good level of IT & administration experience is essential, as youll be working within a fast-paced environment, coordinating the transfer of equipment, ancillary items & spare parts betweenterminals, vessels, workshops and third parties globally. Involved with actively monitoring & organising damage, repair, and maintenance cycles for equipment, procuring the necessary spare parts to ensure the workshops are resourced for this to work seamlessly.DFDS are looking for someone who is open-minded and can be cooperative with new ideas.
