Software Project ManagerLeeds / Bradford£50,000 + bonusHybrid workingInteraction IT have partnered with a leading Business to Business service in West Yorkshire.Due to continued business expansion, my client urgently requires a Software Project Manager to join a rapidly growing team.This role would ideally suit someone with around 4-5 years commercial knowledge in a similar software development or project manager role.The CompanyOne of the UKs leading business to business service with a turnover in excess of £13m in 2021 with anticipated growth of almost 40% for 2022.Recently moved to a brand-new state of the art office, working with the latest technology. The business employs over 150 staff with expectations to increase this over the next 12-18 months. The roleReporting to the Head of IT, the Software Project Manager will oversee the development projects, management, and PM function. You will also be responsible for managing personnel in the development team, setting team and individual priorities and objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring secure development methodologies within the team.Key responsibilities At least 4 years commercial experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of SDLC Experience managing team performance, conducting staff appraisals and any performance issues Liaise with the Product Team and the wider business to define timescales for delivery of development projects Setting attainable goals to team members to complete projects on time Ability to manage multiple projects and working to deadlines Ability to monitor and evaluate completion of tasks and projects against estimates Liaise effectively with Product Teams, Development Architects, and business stakeholders Knowledge of Agile methodologiesDesirable Experience with Software Development in particular PHP, JSON, XML and Restful API technology Knowledge of web-based applicationsIf you are looking for a fantastic opportunity with a market leading business, then please submit your CV to and I will then give you a call to discuss the company and role profile in more detail.
