Job Description

Marketing Executive£40,000 - DOE As the Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for implementing marketing plans in line with business and marketing objectives to increase sales opportunities and market exposure.You will oversee that the day-to-day marketing activities for the business are carried out efficiently and effectively and that deadlines are met. This includes briefing designers and creative agencies on marketing materials, liaising with local publicationsfor press advertisements, managing the marketing campaigns and e-newsletters, and updating the Companys website and social media channels.You will work closely with the Directors, Senior Management and other key stakeholders and ensure they are kept informed of the Companys marketing and sales results.Marketing Executive duties: *Effectively monitor current marketing campaigns, checking on progress and impact on the market.*Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies.*Monitor office wide social media accounts and post as appropriate.*Oversee the weekly recording of Google Analyticss for the performance of the Company website and microsites, carrying out meaningful analysis of these.*Compile the content for monthly e-newsletters for email subscribers, liaising with creative agencies on any design requirements.*Carry out analysis of any e-marketing activity, recording performance and reporting on the results.*Ensure all sales leads generated from the e-marketing results are passed on to the Sales team in a timely manner.*Ensure the Companys social media channels are checked and updated daily and that any queries are responded to.*Oversee the updating of news and information on the Company website, intranet and property related microsites.*Brief designers, printers, and other external suppliers on requests for marketing materials; manage amendments and approve with the relevant branch staff.*Brief creative agencies for weekly or monthly press advertisements; manage content, amendments, and approval with the relevant branch staff.*Liaise with local publications regarding press advertisements; agree costs, packages, and levels of service.*Provide a weekly update of work-in-progress for the Residential Director.*Provide department approval of any marketing materials before it is posted live or sent to*Ensure the Marketing department meets deadlines through efficient planning and scheduling.*Oversee the Companys marketing budget.*Evaluate the Companys marketing processes to improve efficiencies.*Respond in a timely manner to daily general marketing requests from branches, other departments and senior executives via email, face to face and telephone - delegating where appropriate.*Lead monthly and quarterly meetings / conference calls with suppliers and external providers to discuss performance, quality, costs, and any changes.*Provide approval for invoices regarding any appropriate marketing costs.*Carry out regular department meetings to discuss and update work-in-progress in line with the Marketing objectives.*Effective line management of marketing team - allocate work, support staff with their development, carry out appraisals and 1-1s*Represent the Marketing department at board level; attend monthly meetings and provide up to date, accurate reports on the Companys marketing and sales results.Essential* Effective people management skills* Effective influencing skills* Highly articulate with a clear telephone manner* Excellent customer service ethic* Excellent IT skills - with a good knowledge of all Microsoft programs, Google Analytics and Adobe* Excellent analytical skills* Creative ability* High attention to detail* Ability to multi-task* Highly self-motivated* Experience of working in a similar Senior Marketing position* Experience of managing a department and key business function* Strong knowledge of the property industry* Strong understanding of the Companys products and servicesCLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
