Job Description

The Company: Client-centric, private wealth focused IFA firm who are looking to recruit a part-time IFA Administrator to support the director of the business on a 1 to 1 basis. Based from their Ilkley, North Leeds office you will controlthe administrative support function which includes everything from business processing, & general admin support to welcoming clients/meet and greets and managing those business relationships.Hours of Work: Circa 20-24 hours per week working 3 full days (9am-5pm) or reduced hours across 5 days catering for school hours/family etc.The Role: The role itself is a technical IFA Administrator remit providing admin support to a high performing, private wealth biased financial adviser. This requires responsibility for all business processing and the relationship managementof all clientele/product providers so key accountabilities include:

  • Preparing financial reports following full audit of clients portfolios.
  • Accurately inputting of New Business Applications for Life, Investment, Mortgages and Pensions
  • Setting up of New ISA/GIA accounts using Provider platforms.
  • Obtaining quotations
  • Valuations
  • Preparing illustrations for Advisers
  • Dealing with requests to switch or sell client investments, additional investments, along with changes to clients benefits on existing business.
  • Issuing of Letters of Authority, along with updating the clients data base following receipt of information and contact with Clients and Providers alike.
  • Basic suitability report writing assistance supporting the wider groups technical paraplanners as required
The Person: Anyone with 2+ years experience within IFA/wealth management administration who is particularly keen on that 1 to 1 support remit working in close knit quarters with an adviser is encouraged to apply.
