Job Description

Data AnalystSalary £26-28,000Our client is a company based in Ilkley, experiencing strong and strategic growth within their sector in the competitive consumer retail space. As a result of this growth, they are looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join their small, focused and highlysuccessful team. This organisation works with Global brands, offering consultancy led support in relation to consumer data. The business has very superb growth plans and this is an excellent time to join the business and make a very strong contribution. Weare looking for candidates who demonstrate 2 years plus experience of working within a data analysis role, ideally with knowledge of SQL, Power BI and excellent Excel skills. Our client is looking to recruit for this role immediately and the role is office based in Ilkley.This role will involve the following:

  • Extracting data and checking for accuracy, uploading required data
  • Mapping products globally, communicating with clients in relation to new product mapping
  • Communication with clients globally, building strong relationships
  • Reporting and sending monthly updates to clients, working at Director level
  • Upload information on to the database
  • Build Power BI dashboard for clients and specific pivot tables via Excel
  • Evaluating the product performance, especially around promotions
  • Being continually aware of clients and specific categories
  • Additional project related tasks for category management projects
  • Involved with reviewing ranges, promotions and space allocations in addition to performance

  • 1 years plus experience within a similar Data Analysis role
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI would be a strong advantage
  • Excellent Excel skills are essential with MS Access knowledge preferred
  • Superb levels of attention to detail, able to work with volumes of data
  • An interest in working within this demanding consumer led business would be great
  • Someone who is open to UK and possible International travel
  • A team player with excellent commercial acumen
  • 1st class communication skills to support client relationships
