Job Description

High Security Services Technical ManagerThe HSS Division require an experienced electronic security technical professional to provide technical services to both the HSS Division and HSS client base. This role requires a motivated profession providing a wide-ranging set of services. These services can range from providing 2nd 3rd line support to our engineering team to pre sales evaluation of new technology. Experience of providing multi discipline (CCTV, Intruder alarm, Access Control) technical services in a High Security Corporate environment is essential.The roleProvide technical support services to the division’s engineering team, via remote connections and on site presence using specialist diagnostic software.

  • Provide technical support services to the division’s client helpdesk.
  • Provide pre-sales support to account management in regard to system design and technical input on solutions proposed to our clients.
  • Design and delivery of client specific configurations and documentation of solutions created.
  • Cary out evaluation of new technologies and products to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Design and deliver tailored in house training courses to the division’s own engineering team.
  • Creation of technical documentation for sales and engineering teams including design drawings and specific engineering manuals.
  • Product management and manufacturer relationship management.

  • Seasoned and experienced technical support profession.
  • System Design skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of desktop and server operating systems.
  • Good understanding of computer networking.
  • Good understanding of cyber security best practices.
  • Good understanding of current industry standards for CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Access Control systems.
  • StrongTechnical writing skills.
  • Good fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of CCTV inc IP, access control and intruder alarm technology in a High Security environment..
  • Pacom Integrated Intruder and access control system experience preferred but not essential.
  • Panasonic IPCCTV equipment experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Client relationship management skills
