Job Description

Housing Officer

  • £18.98 per hour PAYE
  • Full office based - Ilford
  • 36 Hours per week
  • Start date ASAP
  • 6 month temporary assignment
  • You must hold a UK valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle
The key responsibilities include:
  • Carrying out tenancy audits.
  • Identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to ensure all residents can live safely and sustain their tenancies
  • Updating tenancy details and keeping detailed records. identifying hoarders and vulnerable tenants
The successful candidate will need to be a resilient self-starter who thinks well on their feet in a variety of different, often challenging, situations.
  • We are looking for people who relish a challenge and are able to deal with confrontation.
  • An attention to detail is essential.
  • You will also need to be creative and demonstrably able to develop solutions to assist residents on our estates.
  • The role may involve visiting tenants and will also involve lone working.
Daily use of a car and a full driving license is a must.Previous Housing experience is essential.
