Armstrong Knight are delighted to have partnered with a National, High end Construction and Property company who have an exciting new career opportunity available for an ambitious qualified Accountant.This is a varied and interesting role which will provide exposure to all aspects of financial and commercial accounting within a highly entrepreneurial and fast paced business setting.Applications are welcomed from ACCA qualified accountants who have property experience, gained from working within either practice or industry.Your new role will include the following duties and responsibilities:Preparing management accounts and consolidation on quarterly basis with commentary for investment property portfolio comprising 22+ companiesPreparation of management accounts for two build-to-rent PRS schemesPreparation of VAT returns to ensure compliance with legislation including partial exemption calculationsReview of corporation tax returns and assist with tax planning across the groupPreparation of audit files and liaising with auditors as requiredPreparation of statutory accounts using Caseware on annual basis for property companies and other entities as requiredUse of QUBE property management/ accounts systemEnsure compliance with bank covenants for various loan facilitiesPreparation of annual budget for investment portfolioAccounting for property development companies as requiredAuthorising bank payments using on line banking softwareFormation and strike-off of companiesSupport to team and business as requiredOur client is offering a highly competitive salary, bonus structure, clearly defined progression route to management, and a very generous yearly holiday allowance!
