Job Description

East London/Essex based international distribution organisation are seeking a Customer Services assistant to join their thriving team. Dueto the international bases of their operation, Spanish language skills are essential and any other additional languageskills are desireable. International trade/export experience is also required to excel within the role.Duties

  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication within the team and with customers.
  • Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
  • Maintain international customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Keep records of international customer interactions and process customer accounts.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer. information and analysing customer needs following the AM instructions.
  • Contact with forwarders and Customs Agents.
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale together with the After Sales Dpt.
  • Work with Production Dpt. and Expedition Dpt. to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
WHAT YOULL NEED FOR THIS ROLE
  • 3+ Experience as a Customer Service role.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Proven international customer support experience.
  • Familiar with International delivery terms and practices.
  • Ability to speak Spanish essential, additional languages also helpful.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of communication styles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • To be a team player.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
